01 — Problem

The problem

Low Earth orbit is becoming increasingly congested with space debris. While large debris objects are tracked by ground-based radar, a critical gap exists in the 1–9 cm range — objects too small for most current systems to reliably detect, but large enough to cause catastrophic damage to operational satellites.

Our approach

TerraGuard is building a space-based radar system designed to detect and characterize sub-10 cm debris directly from orbit — closing the gap that ground-based infrastructure cannot reach.

Tyler founded TerraGuard to address the growing challenge of tracking debris in low Earth orbit. As CEO, he leads the company's overall strategy, product direction, and external partnerships, working closely with the technical team to move TerraGuard from concept through development and deployment.
